Our History
Bergen Imports is a family owned business that began providing services in 1978 through Bergen Auto Service located in Ridgefield, NJ. In 1984, we moved our services to Cliffside Park, NJ, where Bergen Imports, Inc. was born. With this move, our business grew to a 10,000-square foot, two-story facility. In addition, our services expanded to encompass body shop services and high performance enhancements. Bergen Imports specializes in the service and car repairs of European automobiles. Our management and mechanic technicians are proud to be recognized as a high-end collision repair facility in the Bergen County area. This is achieved through experienced technicians and state-of-the-art equipment and by providing our customers performance they can depend on time and time again.

- Why do I need an appointment?............We are a boutique style shop that can accommodate a limited number of cars at a time. Volume is not our goal~quality and accuracy is.
- Why do you need my car for more than a day?...........Each repair is unique and when parts are required, there is lead time necessary for part deliveries.
- Why can't I wait for my car?........Due to the size & nature of our facility, waiting appointments are an impossibility as we are at the mercy of the daily workflow.
- If I bring my own parts in, can I cut down on wait time?........Presuming that all parts are accurate, then yes, it would. BUT-IF, there are issues with fitment and waste a day's labor to discover this, labor fees will apply for this in addition to the repair estimate and will not warranty our work if parts you provide fails.
